Writing Workshops

Course Length: 15 hours

Whether your child is studying for IGCSEs, or finishing the IB diploma, our writing workshops are tailored to specific student needs and around specific school curriculums. Our tutors work closely with students to support them on writing assignments and projects for school, as well as help them excel on written school and public exams. Additional hours can be purchased as an extension to this course, if needed.

IB DP Courses (various subjects)

Extended Essay (EE)

The Extended Essay (EE) is a 4,000-word research paper that all IB DP students must complete and is a critical part of final IB scores. The EE can be an intimidating task for many students, but whether students need help formulating an appropriate research question, engaging in a personal exploration of the topic, communicating ideas and/or developing an argument, we are here to help. Students will be paired one-on-one with an EE-specialist to help students analyze, synthesize and evaluate research to produce work that will be externally assessed at the highest standard. Additional hours can be purchased as an extension to this course, if needed.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

Suitable for: Year 12-13 | Grade 11-12
Course Format: One-on-One | In Person or Online
Course Length: 15 hours

TOK is a compulsory module for IB DP students, featuring a 1,600-word essay and an assessed presentation that provides students the opportunity to reflect on the nature of knowledge, and on how we know what we claim to know. Our TOK specialist will work one-on-one with students to focus on exploring the fundamentals of the TOK, aid students in cultivating a philosophical mindset, apply TOK thinking to real-life situations for their presentation, and provide essential presentation tips and project help. Additional hours can be purchased as an extension to this course, if needed.

International School & Boarding School Entrance Exams Preparation

SSAT Prep Course (Elementary/Middle/Upper Levels)

Suitable for: Year 6-10 | Grade 5-9
Format: Private One-on-One | In Person or Online
Course Length: 20 hours

For students taking the SSAT for US boarding school admissions, this course will cover topics across the quantitative (math), verbal, reading comprehension and essay sections of the SSAT. Test taking strategies will also be covered along with plenty of drills and practice under timed conditions.

ISEE Prep Course (Lower/Middle/Upper Levels)

Suitable for: Year 6-10 | Grade 5-9
Format: Private One-on-One | In Person or Online
Course Length: 20 hours

For students who will be taking the ISEE for entrance into international schools or independent day schools. This course will cover essential topics and question types that are tested on the verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, mathematics achievement, and essay sections of the exam. Test taking strategies will also be covered along with plenty of drills and practice under timed conditions.

US University Entrance Exams Preparation

SAT & ACT Prep Courses

Our general SAT and ACT prep courses are for students who are either beginning their test preparation or have more time for preparation before their actual test date. Our experienced SAT and ACT test prep tutors will work one-on-one with students to help them build a solid foundation of the SAT or ACT and covers key topics and vital test taking strategies essential to achieving competitive scores.

SAT & ACT Intensive Prep Courses

Suitable for: Year 12-13 | Grade 11-12
Format: One-on-One | In Person or Online
Course Length: 30 hours

Our intensive SAT and ACT preparation courses are best suited for students who are looking for a faster-paced course and working towards a looming test date. Our experienced SAT and ACT test prep tutors will work one-on-one with students to teach them crucial test knowledge and strategies. Students will also do plenty of drill exercises under timed conditions.

SAT & ACT Drills

Suitable for: Year 12-13 | Grade 11-12
Format: One-on-One | In Person or Online
Session Length: 6-hour modules

Our SAT and ACT Drill Sessions are for students who are familiar with the SAT or ACT but need more practice in a test-taking environment under timed conditions. Drill Sessions are scheduled as 6-hours modules (three 90-minute drill sessions plus a 90-minute session to go through the questions with a test prep tutor). Students would schedule more modules as needed.
