Our Approach

Our Foundation Science classes serve to reinforce the key concepts and principles of Biology, Chemistry and Physics to supplement the material that students have been learning at school. Special emphasis is placed on the goals of each individual student and classes are tailored to their specific needs and requirements.

Ultimately, our goal is to help build students up with a strong foundation of scientific principles and terminology, and introduce key scientific concepts and theories to help students build confidence in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and evidence-based reasoning. Our classes also foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills by challenging students to analyse scientific problems, evaluate evidence, and apply scientific reasoning to arrive at logical conclusions. Our tutors encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and engage in scientific inquiry, thus developing skills that are valuable in scientific research and beyond.

By covering all major curriculums across the international schools in Hong Kong, including the IB, IGCSE, A-Level, and AP, our courses provide students with a solid grounding in the principles and methodologies of the three main scientific disciplines. By promoting scientific literacy, interdisciplinary thinking, critical reasoning, and real-world applications, our classes aim to lay the groundwork for further scientific study and equip students with essential skills for navigating the scientific world.
